Axis Bank hiked FD rates; now earn up to 7.85%

Axis Bank has revised its fixed deposit (FD) interest rates with effect from February 5, 2024, according to the bank’s website. The revised rates are applicable for FDs worth less than Rs 2 crore. For Axis Bank FDs, the highest interest rate for individuals can go up to 7.20% and the highest interest rate for senior citizens can go up to 7.75%.

Which FD tenure interest rate has Axis Bank hiked?

Axis Bank has hiked fixed deposit interest rate of 17 months to less than 18 months FDs by 10 basis points (bps) from 7.10% to 7.20% for general citizens. For senior citizens, the bank has hiked it from 7.75% to 7.85%.

Latest Axis Bank FD interest rate

Axis Bank offers interest rates between 3% and 7.10% for general citizens for amounts below Rs 2 crore for tenure ranging from 7 days to 10 years.

Axis Bank provides a 3% interest rate on FDs due between 7 and 29 days. The bank provides a 3.5% interest rate on FDs due in 30 to 45 days. Fixed-term deposits maturing between 46 and 60 days will earn 4.25% interest. days to less than three months. Axis Bank provides a 4.75% interest rate on FDs due between three months and 25 days and less than six months. Axis Bank customers will get an interest rate of 6% on FDs maturing between nine months and less than a year. FDs maturing between one year and less than 15 months, will get an interest rate of 6.70%.

For FDs maturing between 15 months and less than five years 9 (except on tenure of 17 months < 18 months), the bank offers an interest rate of 7.1%. On tenure of 17 months to less than 18 months, the bank has hiked to 7.20% from 7.10%.

On FDs maturing between five years and 10 years, the bank offers an interest rate of 7%.

Senior citizens get an additional interest rate of up to 0.75% over the interest rate offered to the general customers. Axis Bank offers interest rates between 4.8% to 7.85% for senior citizens for amounts below Rs 2 crore for tenure ranging from 7 days to 10 years.
