Manufacturing activity surges in New York region to highest level in nearly three years
The New York Federal Reserve’s Empire State business conditions index, a gauge of manufacturing activity in the state, surged 43.1 points in November to 31.2, the regional Fed bank said Friday. It is the highest level in nearly three years.
