Ranbir, Alia's daughter Raha gets Rs 250 cr bungalow

Not Aaryan Khan, not Taimur Khan, Raha Kapoor is the richest kid in Bollywood today! According to a report by Bollywood Life, B’town power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will name their new home – a palatial bungalow in the heart of Bandra, Mumbai after their daughter Raha.

The bungalow will make the 1.5-year-old the richest celebrity kid in B’town, as it costs a whopping Rs 250 crore! This makes the mansion more expensive than Amitabh Bachchan’s sprawling home Jalsa and Shah Rukh Khan’s luxurious bungalow Mannat.

The house, which was originally owned by Raj Kapoor, the showman of Bollywood and his wife Krishna is being renovated. Kapoor and Bhatt have often been seen at the construction spot along with Kapoor’s mother Neetu.

A source close to both the stars told Bollywood Life, that the ‘Brahmastra’ couple, both of whom are devoted to their little munchkin, have decided to pool in their life earnings on re-innovating the bungalow. “Ranbir and Alia are both equally investing their hard-earned money to make their dream house. The house will cost more than ₹ 250 crore once it’s all done. And this will become the most expensive bungalow in the Mumbai area compared with Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat and Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa,” said the source to Bollywood Life. The couple also owns four flats in the Bandra area, and their worth is more than Rs 60 crore.

However, Ranbir’s mother Neetu will also be the co-owner of the bungalow, as her husband, the late actor Rishi Kapoor had named her as half owner of all of his properties. As per reports, once the bungalow is finished, the entire Kapoor clan may stay under the same roof. Kapoor and Bhatt living along with their daughter in a house called Vastu.

On the work front, Kapoor tasted box-office glory with his recent on-screen outing ‘Animal’. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the action drama crossed Rs 900 crore at the box-office. He will next be seen in the war romance ‘Love & War’ along with Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The movie will be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He will also headline a cinematic adaptation of ‘Ramayana’. The film will be helmed by ‘Dangal’ director Nitesh Tiwari.

Bhatt is busy with the promotions of her upcoming movie ‘Jigra’. Directed by Vasan Bala, this action thriller is set in Japan.
