This makes the Maneesh Sharma directorial the Salman Khan movie with the biggest opening day figure, beating his 2019 movie ‘Bharat’. The latter earned Rs 42 crore on the day of release.
The Comeback Of Bollywood Masala Genre
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), trade analyst Taran Adarsh described ‘Tiger 3’ as the “biggest dhamaka of Diwali.” He also observed that the stupendous success of ‘Tiger 3’ after the Shah Rukh Khan-led blockbusters such as ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’, has led to a resurgence of the masala entertainer.
“2023 marks the comeback of *well-made* masala entertainers that also revived the struggling theatrical biz: #Pathaan, #Jawan and #Gadar2… It’s time to add yet another prominent title to this distinguished list: #Tiger3,” he wrote.
Khans Are Here To Rule
Adarsh also concluded that the Khans are going nowhere. The success of these movies proves that the Khan triumvirate is here to stay.
“NEVER EVER write off the mighty Khans… Earlier this year, #SRK silenced the naysayers with #Pathaan [Jan] and followed it up with a bigger victory #Jawan [Sept]… Now watch #SalmanKhan return with a vengeance with #Tiger3,” he mused.

According to a Pinkvilla report, the action extravaganza is enjoying a fantastic opening day figure across the globe. The movie has reportedly minted $5 million (about Rs 41 crore) overseas.
